Does your attic have no insulation at all? A properly insulated attic is key to not only keeping your home a nice even temperature, but in keeping your energy bills down. In addition to no insulation, this attic had a history of squirrels. Before we could install new insulation, we knew this process required an attic clean up. We started by vacuuming the attic floor to get rid of any droppings and debris. We then sealed off any potential entry points the squirrels were coming in from through our rodent proofing process. Sanitation was done after to get rid of any harmful bacteria and lingering odor. Finally, we finished this project by air sealing the attic floor and installing new fiberglass batt insulation.
