Does your attic have enough insulation? After a while, insulation tends to lose its R value. This causes your heating and cooling systems to work harder to maintain a more even temperature in your home thus increasing your energy bills. This customer thought he needed more insulation so he called for a free inspection. During the inspection, we found the insulation did lose its R value and needed to be replaced. We removed all of the batt insulation by putting them in disposable bags. Next, we vacuumed and sanitized the attic floor so we can make way for the new insulation. We air sealed energy leaking gaps on the floor and then placed down new fiberglass batt insulation to finish off. Now the home can remain a more even, comfortable temperature throughout the year.
