Does your attic have no insulation? Insulation is important in maintaining not only an even temperature in your home, but in keeping your home more comfortable throughout the year. If an attic has no insulation, your heater and air conditioner is working harder and running more often to keep the house an even temperature. We found this attic completely empty during out inspection. Before installing new insulation, we air sealed the attic floor to prevent energy leaking up into the attic. We then installed new fiberglass batt insulation to bring it up to New Jersey state code and to help lower future energy bills.
