Our work began by first removing the existing insulation using a 19 HP vacuum and removal tubes. After we began our next step by cleaning the attic’s surface areas. This step allows us to remove any lingering odors in the attic. We then performed rodent proofing in the attic. This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found in the attic, crawlspace, and exterior. This step is important to prevent future costly damages to the home. After we air sealed all of the gaps to prevent heat and cold leaks from the attic to the living space. We finished the attic by installing new insulation and bringing it up to code. We then moved on to cleaning the crawlspace and installed new fiberglass insulation in the crawlspace. The job was finished by placing a moisture barrier which helps to eliminate moisture. It also helps with preventing water damage.
