With HVAC systems in the attic, it’s important to keep the attic properly insulated so the unit doesn’t run on overtime. This attic had no insulation, causing the AC to run more, effectively raising the energy bill. Before we could insulate this attic, we vacuumed and sanitized the attic floor. Once the dust and debris were cleared, we rodent proofed the attic to prevent rodents from accessing the attic. We then air sealed the attic floor to prevent energy leaking from living spaces to the attic itself. To finish off, we installed new batt insulation.
