Having no insulation in your attic can greatly increase your energy bill since you AC needs to work even harder to keep your home a consistent temperature. Upon inspection, this attic had no insulation. To help keep this home cooler this summer, we started by air sealing the attic floor. This will prevent energy leaking from living spaces into the attic. We then laid down fiberglass batt insulation, R30. We finished this project by installing baffles. This will help keep the attic ventilated.
