This home needed their crawlspace cleaned up as well as rodent proofing. During our inspection, we also found that the attic had old insulation. We quickly got to work to ensure the attic and crawlspace is clean, safe, and energy efficient.
We started our day by removing the existing and decompressed insulation from the attic using a 19 HP vacuum and removal tubes. After we began our next step by cleaning the attic. We then performed rodent proofing in the attic. This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found in the attic. This step is important to prevent future rodent activity. Our last step was installing Owen’s Corning R-38 Batts insulation accordingly to CA building code, in the attic.
Once the attic’s services were completed we move on to the crawlspace. We cleaned the crawlspace and removed any debris. We also sealed any gaps and holes we found. Finally, we finished our remaining services by installing a vapor barrier in the crawlspace.
