Our client initially reached out to us to inspect their crawlspace. They were uncomfortable in their home and suspected it was due to lack of insulation. During this inspection, we did find that the crawlspace has no existing insulation. And the interior walls also had no insulation making the home much colder. We recommended installing new crawlspace insulation and insulating the exterior walls. Our team first got to work by drilling holes into the bedroom walls and installing blown-in insulation. Then we made our way down to the crawlspace and installed R-30 Owen’s Corning batts insulation under the bedroom on the first floor. And installed R-19 on the remaining areas of the crawlspace. We hope our client is enjoying their newly insulated home.
