Attic insulation is one of the most important elements in home improvement if you want to save on your energy bill. When installing the right insulation you can enhance the comfort of your home and improve your home’s acoustics.
On this project, we began our work by removing the existing and decompressed insulation from the attics. We did this by using a 19 HP vacuum and removal tubes. Then we started cleaning the surface areas of the attics. This step allows us to remove any lingering odors in the attics. Then we performed rodent proofing in the attics and exterior of the home This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found to prevent future costly damages to the home. We then moved on to installing R-38 Owen’s Corning blown-in insulation per California building code.
Once the attic’s services were completed we move on to the crawlspace. We cleaned the crawlspace and removed any debris. We also sealed any gaps and holes we found. We finished our work by doing a final inspection of the attic and crawlspace.
