Our client initially reached out to us because they needed their attic cleaned and new insulation. Our inspection determined the existing insulation was old and not up to code. This insulation needed to be replaced. We started our day by removing the existing and decompressed insulation from the attic using a 19 HP vacuum and removal tubes. After we began our next step by cleaning the attic. We then performed rodent proofing in the attic and exterior of the home. This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found in the attic. This step is important to prevent future rodent activity. Our last step was installing Owen’s Corning R-38 Batts insulation accordingly to CA building code, in the attic. We sure hope our lovely clients are now enjoying the new insulation in their home.
