Our customer in Alhambra called us to help replace the insulation for the home’s attic and install a radiant barrier. First, our crew provided an attic cleanup by vacuuming out the existing debris. Next, the crew sanitized and air sealed the attic. These are very important steps to eliminate bad odors, and to prevent heat and cold leaks from traveling from the living space to the attic. Then, the crew covered up any entry points in the attic, crawlspace and exterior of the home. Rodent proofing services are important to prevent rodents from entering the attic or crawlspace and cause costly damages. Later, the workers completed the job by installing R-30 batts into the attic and R-19 batts on the attic walls. Finally, they used fiber foil for the radiant barrier underneath the roof to radiant or reflect sun rays and heat.
