Is it time to upgrade your attic insulation? With snow right around the corner, now’s the best time to evaluate your attic to make sure your home is ready for the cold weather. For this customer, we saw his attic insulation was old and needed to be replaced. We went right to work by removing and bagging all of the old insulation. Once the floor was cleared, we vacuumed and sanitized to area to get rid of any dust or bacteria. Next, we air sealed the attic floor to keep energy from leaking out of the home and into the attic. Though there was no rodent activity, we took preventative measures and rodent proofed the attic. As the temperatures outside begin to drop, rodents will try to make a home in your attic. Finally, we finished off by installing new fiberglass batt insulation. Now this home is ready for all the cold this season has to offer!
