The Atticare Process
Job Site Preparation
The team will cover floors with protective barriers in work areas as needed and set up plastic partition walls or dust-barrier tunnels where required.
⭐️ We recommend our clients to ensure that no fragile or valuable items are in the path between the front door and the attic/crawl space entrance to maintain a safe work environment.
Insulation Removal & Cleaning
Remove all existing insulation from the designated work area using a heavy-duty vacuum and garbage bags. Haul away and dispose of all work-related trash and debris. Remove and vacuum rodent waste such as droppings, nests, and related debris.
Sanitation & Decontamination
Apply OdoBan disinfectant and odor eliminator to the work area to eliminate viruses, rodent odors, pheromones, and bacteria.

Rodent Proofing
Seal all potential entry points using wire mesh, polyurethane foam, and cement as needed. – Identify and seal new access points as needed.
– Set 2–4 traps in the service area as necessary.

We will seal all gaps and cracks around fixtures, piping, wiring, vents, etc., on the attic floor prior to insulation installation to help reduce air leaks and energy costs. This helps regulate indoor temperatures, control moisture levels, and most importantly, improve indoor air quality for a healthier living environment.

We install attic fan and whole house fan as needed to balance humidity level. High humidity in the attic can cause mold growth, damaged insulation or roof, and high energy bills.
