Many older homes tend to still have the existing insulation it was built with. In this home, our team found old and decompressed insulation. We began our work by first removing the existing insulation. Then we cleaned the attic’s surface to eliminate odors. After we air sealed all of the gaps to prevent heat and cold leaks from the living space to the attic. Another preventative service we did was rodent proofing holes and gaps. This part of our service is important to avoid costly future damages. We finished by installing R-38 fiberglass insulation to help our client to save money on their energy bills.
