If you’ve left your attic unattended for some time, it’s likely that it needs to be checked. In this home, we found the existing insulation not up to code. We began our work by first removing the insulation. Before we can replace it, we cleaned the attic’s surface to eliminate any lingering odors. Then we air sealed any gaps to prevent heat or cold leaks. We also sealed any holes we found to prevent future costly damages. Our last step was installing new insulation accordingly to CA building code, in the attic.
