The latest guidelines in California’s Title 24 building codes require new insulation to have a value of R-19 or greater. For this project, our crew cleaned the attic and upgraded the insulation with high-quality batt material to make the home healthier, safer and more energy-efficient.

We started our Diamond-Certified service by prepping the home with reinforced plastic coverings. Our workers wore protective gear while using a 19 HP vacuum and removal tubes to clear the existing insulation. These materials were sealed and disposed of responsibly according to local health and safety codes.

We cleaned and sanitized the space to remove bacteria, and rodent-proofed to prevent future pest issues. For installing new batts insulation to code, we used strapping to hold the insulation against the roof deck and arranged the batts with minimal gaps between them.
