Very little, old, or no insulation in your attic affects your home’s temperature. This customer had old blown in insulation and we helped with the replacement. First, the crew began by cleaning the attic to remove all the old blown in insulation and debris out. Next, the crew sanitized the attic floor and air sealed the space as well. Sanitizing the attic will help kill any bacterias and air sealing prevents heat and cold leaks traveling from the living space to the attic. Finally, the crew used the AttiCat machine to blow in new R- 30 Blown in insulation into the attic. In conclusion, the new insulation will benefit the home’s temperature and make it energy efficient throughout the year.
