Are noises in the attic keeping you up at night? This customer had a raccoon infestation that left the attic contaminated and the insulation ruined. We knew to keep the air quality in the home healthy, we needed to replace the attic insulation. First, we removed all of the contaminated insulation and vacuumed any feces. When the attic floor was cleared, we sanitized the attic to get rid of any harmful bacteria and odor. To help prevent future infestation, we sealed off any potential entry points using our rodent proofing process. Air sealing was done to the attic floor to prevent air leakages from the living space to the attic. Finally, we finished off by installing new fiberglass batt insulation.
