Our customer in Los Angeles called us to help replace the insulation for the home’s attic and install new insulation in the crawlspace. First, our crew provided an attic cleanup by vacuuming out the old batts and debris. Next, the sanitization services were done as well as the air sealing. These are very important steps to eliminate bad odors, and to prevent heat and cold leaks from traveling from the living space to the attic. Then, the crew covered up any entry points in the attic, crawlspace and exterior of the home. Rodent proofing services are important to prevent rodents from entering the attic or crawlspace and cause costly damages. Later, the workers installed R-38 batts insulation into the attic. Finally, the crew finished the project by installing new R-19 batts insulation in the crawlspace ceiling.
