Before we get started on our services, our team lays down plastic sheets on areas they would generally walk on. This step is important in keeping our clients home clean while we do our work. One of the benefits of new insulation for our clients is to save money on their energy bills. We removed the existing and decompressed insulation from the attic. Afterward, we cleaned the surface to remove any lingering odors in the attic and crawlspace. Then we performed rodent proofing in the attic, crawlspace, and exterior of the home. This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found to prevent future costly damages to the home. We then moved on to installing new R-38 Owen’s Corning batts insulation per California building code. We then began our next step by removing the old insulation in the crawlspace. Afterward, we installed R-19 Batts insulation in the crawlspace to complete our work. We hope our client is enjoying their newly insulated home!
