his attic had old and decomposed insulation that no longer was beneficial to the home. We removed the existing and decompressed insulation from the attic using a heavy duty vacuum and removal tubes. After we began our next step by cleaning out the attic. We then performed rodent proofing in the attic and exterior of the home. This process involved sealing holes and gaps our team had found. This step is important to prevent future rodent activity and costly damages. Our last step was installing new R-38 batts insulation accordingly to CA building code, in the attic floors. On the attic walls we installed R-19 batts insulation. One of the benefits of new insulation for our clients is to save money on their energy bills. Since the summer season is approaching, this attic is ready for the heat.
