Insulation benefits your home in many ways one being it will protect it against the cold in winter and excess heat in summer. During this inspection our technician found old contaminated insulation. First, our crew provided a cleanup by vacuuming out the existing insulation and debris. Next, the crew sanitized the space to kill any bacteria. Then, they rodent proofed the attic, this step is important so rodents don’t come in and damage the work. They also air sealed the attic to prevent air leaks transferring from the living space to the attic. The crew finished up by installing brand new Owen’s Corning R-30 batts insulation. This home will have better air quality and the new insulation will make the home a comfortable living space.
