Insulation benefits the home by making it more energy efficient and making the home a more comfortable living space. First, our crew provided a cleanup by vacuuming up any existing insulation and debris. Next, the workers provided sanitization and air sealing services. These are very important steps to eliminate bad odors, and to prevent heat and cold leaks from traveling from the living space to the attic. Then, they rodent proofed, this step is important so rodents do not come in and damage the new insulation. Finally, the crew installed R-38 batts insulation on the attic floor and R-19 batts on the attic walls.
