Our customer in Simi Valley called us to help replace the insulation for the home’s attic. First, our crew provided an attic cleanup by vacuuming out the old batts insulation and debris. Next, the crew sanitized the attic to eliminate bad odors and kill any bacteria. Then, we air sealed the attic to prevent heat and cold leaks from traveling from the living space to the attic. Later, the crew covered up any entry points in the attic to provide rodent proofing services. These services are important to prevent rodents from entering the attic and cause costly damages. Finally, the workers completed the job by installing R-38 batts on the attic floor and R-19 batts insulation on the attic walls.
