In this attic we found old insulation, so it was necessary to remove it. During the cleanup process we removed old insulation and vacuumed any dirt or debris. Later, we sanitize the area to eliminate any foul odors and get rid of any bacterias. The decontamination helps prepare the attic space for the installation of the new insulation. Before installing new insulation the crew rodent proofed the attic to keep future rodents from getting in and causing damages. Finally, the workers installed new R-30 Batts on the attic floors and new R-19 Batts on the attic walls. This new insulation will help regulate the home’s temperature during summer and winter, as well as improving the air quality of the home.
