The existing insulation of this attic was old and raggedy. First, the crew started off doing a cleanup by removing the decompressed R-11 batts insulation. Next, the workers sanitized the attic 100% natural solution in preparation for the new batts. Then, the crew rodent proofed the interior and exterior of the attic. The prevention of rodents coming in is key to keep the insulation in tact. Finally, the workers installed the new R-38 Batts insulation on the attic floors.
