Having old and inefficient insulation can increase your energy bills, especially during the summer and winter. This customer had old cellulose insulation that needed to be replaced. We went into the attic with our heavy duty vacuum to remove all of the old insulation. After the attic was cleared, we sanitized the floor to get rid of any bacteria. To make the attic more energy efficient, we then air sealed the attic floor. This process helps seal off any energy leaking gaps that would leak energy from living areas to the attic. Finally, we installed new blown fiberglass insulation. This will help the home keep a more even temperature throughout the year.
