If you have a rodent issue in the attic, they can rip up all of your insulation, ruining its R value, thus raising your energy bills. The insulation in this attic was inefficient and needed to be replaced. Before we could install new insulation, we got right to work by removing all of the old insulation. Next, we vacuumed the rodent droppings and sanitized the attic floor to get rid of harmful bacteria and odor. Rodent proofing was done after. This process is to seal off any potential entry points rodents may be coming in from. After, air sealing was done to prevent energy leakages. This will help save money on the energy bill. Finally, we installed new fiberglass batt insulation to finish off the attic.
