Our customer in La Canada Flintridge called us to help replace the insulation for the home’s attic. First, our crew provided an attic cleanup by vacuuming out the old R-11 batts and debris. Next, the sanitization services were done as well as the air sealing. These are very important steps to eliminate bad odors, and to prevent heat and cold leaks from traveling from the living space to the attic. Then, the crew covered up any entry points in the attic, crawlspace and exterior of the home. Rodent proofing services are important to prevent rodent from entering the attic or crawlspace and cause costly damages. Later, the workers completed the job by installing R-30 blown in insulation into the attic. Finally, we finished the project by installing a moisture/vapor barrier in the crawlspace.
