Have you gotten your attic checked recently? It’s recommended to get your attic and crawlspace checked at least once a year. During this general inspection, our technician found batt insulation that had lost its R value. It was no longer keeping their home warm this winter. We needed to make way for new fiberglass insulation so we started off by removing all of the old insulation. After, we vacuumed any remaining debris so the attic floor remains clean. There was a history of birds entering the attic along with other rodents so we rodent proofed the home to prevent future infestation. We then air sealed the attic floor for maximum energy efficiency. Finally, we finished off by installing new batt insulation to get the attic clean and up to code.
