Insulation benefits your home in many ways for example, improving energy efficiency, better air quality. During this inspection our technician found very little, decomposed insulation. First, our crew provided an attic cleanup by vacuuming out the old insulation and debris. Next, the workers sanitized to kill bacteria and eliminate bad odors. Then, they rodent proofed the attic, so rodents do not come in and damage the work. They also sealed all the gaps to prevent air leaks transferring from the living space to the attic. Finally, the crew finished up by installing brand new Owen’s Corning R-38 batts insulation in the attic floors and R-19 batts on the attic walls. The new insulation will now make the home a comfortable living space during extreme weather.
