Our customer in Diamond Bar called us to help replace the insulation for the home’s attic. First, our crew provided an attic cleanup by vacuuming out the old batts insulation and any debris. Next, the sanitization services were done as well as the air sealing. The sanitization services are important because they help eliminate bacteria. The air sealing helps prevent heat and cold leaks from traveling from the living space to the attic. Then, the crew used wire mesh and silicone to cover up any entry points in the attic, crawlspace and exterior of the home. Rodent proofing services are important to prevent rodents from entering the attic or crawlspace and cause costly damages. Finally, the crew completed the job by installing R-38 batts insulation into the attic floors and R-19 batts on the walls of the attic.
