Why do we replace attic insulation? Normally insulation deteriorates over time which results in having replacement services.  In this attic we found old decompressed insulation so we started our services with a cleanup. First, the crew used our heavy duty vacuums to clean out all the old insulation and debris. Then, we sanitized the attic floors to kill any bacterias and eliminate any bad odors. Next, the attic was air sealed to prevent any heat or cold leaks from traveling to the attic space. Rodent proofing services we also done by patching up any entry points in the attic. Prevention services are very important so there aren’t any future costly damages to the new insulation. Finally, the crew installed new R-38 batts insulation on the attic floors. The new insulation will ensure a lower energy bill.
