Before it gets too hot in your home, it is always a good idea to check your attic and crawlspace to see if there is enough insulation so your air conditioning is not working overtime. Over time, the insulation in this attic had lost its R value. We needed to completely empty the attic before installing new batt insulation. We got to work by bagging and vacuuming all of the old insulation. Then we sanitized the attic floor to get rid of any lingering odor or bacteria. Next, we air sealed the attic floor to help save money on energy bills. Finally, we completed services by installing new fiberglass insulation.
