In this home, our team found many gaps, holes, old, and decompressed insulation. To bring the attic up to code we needed to do clean up services, rodent proofing, and install new insulation. We began our work by first removing the existing insulation. Then we cleaned the attic’s surface to eliminate any lingering odors. After we air sealed all of the gaps to prevent heat and cold leaks from the living space to the attic. Another preventative service we did was rodent proofing holes and gaps. This part of our service is important to avoid costly future damages. We finished by installing R-38 fiberglass insulation to help our client to save money on their energy bills.
