When renovating a home, it’s important to insulate the walls and ceiling before finishing the space. This way your home will have a comfortable temperature all year round. For this home, the owner was undergoing a renovation. The walls were bare and had no insulation in place. Before installing the insulation, we air sealed the walls and ceiling. Covering these gaps will prevent energy leaking and reduce heat or AC loss throughout the year. After this was done, we installed faced batt insulation. Now this renovation is ready for sheetrock!
