Noises in the attic keeping you up at night? Once you start hearing noises in the attic, it’s important to address rodents right away before it becomes a large infestation and they find their way into your living spaces. This attic had clear signs of rodent activity. We found rodent nests, droppings, and borrows in the insulation. To help prevent an all out infestation, we first had to remove all of the damaged and contaminated insulation. Next, we vacuumed any leftover debris and droppings to get a clean attic floor. Sanitation was done next to get rid of bacteria and odor left behind by the rodents. We then rodent proofed the attic to help keep rodents from entering the attic again. Lastly, we air sealed the attic floor before installing batt insulation and baffles for airflow.
