If your attic is not properly insulated you may notice yourself turning up the heat in the winter and running the AC all day and night in the summer. A properly insulated attic is key to having your home stay a nice, even temperature all year round. This attic had poor insulation. To start, we had to remove all of the inefficient insulation to make way for new insulation. Once the floor was clear, we vacuumed and sanitized to get rid of any odor or bacteria. Next, we rodent proofed the attic to help prevent rodents from getting in. Finally, we air sealed the attic floor to prevent energy leaking from the living spaces to the attic and laid down new fiberglass batt insulation. Now this home is ready for the changing weather!
