Insulation is an important factor when it comes to keeping your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. If you have rodents in the attic, they are bound to tear the insulation to use as nests, reducing the R value. Rodent activity was present in this attic so to help get rid of the rodents, we first had to remove all of the insulation. This allowed us to spot entry points that the insulation hid. Through our rodent proofing process, we sealed openings to help keep unwanted critters out. Vacuuming and sanitation was done next. Rodents leave behind certain smells that attract other rodents. Sanitizing will help get rid of this odor, reducing your chances of an infestation. After, we air sealed the attic floor and installed new batt insulation and baffles for air flow.
