The before photos show two kinds of old material across the attic: yellow batts broken up and pushed around in one area, and white loose-fill heaped around a duct in another.
The scope covered the insulation, the air ducts, rodent proofing and a new fan. That meant clearing the attic first, so the crew could clean the deck, seal the gaps, run the new ducts and fit the fan, and only then lay the batts.

Air duct replacement
Air ducts removed and replaced to code, matching the existing diameters.
New insulation
