Our client in Sunnyvale, CA reached out to us needing an attic and crawlspace inspection. After our inspection, we recommended new attic insulation and a moisture barrier in the crawlspace. New insulation will regulate the temperature in the house. This keeps our client’s homes more comfortable in the winter and the summer.  We began our work by cleaning the surface areas of the attic. This step allows us to remove any lingering odors in the attic. Then we performed rodent proofing in the attic and exterior of the home This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found to prevent future costly damages to the home. We then moved on to installing R-38 Owen’s Corning batts insulation per California building code. Our team completed our work by installing a moisture barrier in the crawlspace. Besides saving on energy, the new insulation we installed will improve the air quality inside the house.
