We previously did removal services for our client a few years ago. Now our client was ready to insulate their home which is a good time for the upcoming summer season. One of the benefits of new insulation for our clients is to save money on their energy bills. Another benefit of installing a radiant barrier is that it reflects heat instead of absorbing. These two services improve indoor comfort for our clients. Since the attic was primarily empty from our previous services, we got to work by cleaning the attic’s surface. This step allows us to remove any lingering odors in the attic. Then we performed rodent proofing in the attic and exterior of the home. This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found to prevent future costly damages to the home. Before we could install new insulation, we installed the radiant barrier beneath the roof deck. We completed our work by installing R-38 Owen’s Corning batts insulation and being mindful of the recess lights.
