Our customer initially reached out to us to inspect their attic and crawlspace. During this inspection, we also found both areas condition was not up to code. One of the benefits of new insulation for our clients is to save money on their energy bills. The whole house fan designed by QuietCool saves customers up to 50-90% off A/C related electricity costs. We began our work by removing the old insulation from the attic and crawlspace. After the removal process was completed we cleaned the surface areas of the attic and crawlspace. This step allows us to remove any lingering odors. Then we performed rodent proofing in the attic, crawlspace, and exterior of the home This process involved sealing holes and gaps we found to prevent future costly damages to the home. We then moved on to installing R-38 Owen’s Corning batts insulation per California building code, in the attic. Then our team installed a whole house fan in the attic. This will also help to improve the air quality in our client’s home. We finished our work by installing R-19 Owen’s Corning batts insulation in the crawlspace. We hope our client is enjoying their newly insulated home.
