With the cold weather here, rodents will do everything they can to break into your attic or crawlspace. This is one of the many reasons why it is a good idea to get your attic or crawlspace inspected at least once a year. For this attic, the insulation had burrows and droppings were found throughout. To help remediate this rodent issue, we started with our insulation removal process. By safely removing the contaminated insulation, this allowed us to find potential rodent entry points and rodent proof the home, helping to prevent future infestation. We also cleaned and sanitized the attic floor to get rid of harmful bacteria and odor. After, air sealing was done to prevent energy leakage. Finally, we installed new fiberglass batt insulation.
