The challenge
A crawl space to strip, seal and reinsulate
The scope covered the crawl space under the house: 1,200 sq ft of floor framing to strip of its old insulation, clean and reinsulate.
The openings came first. Photos from the job show vents screened with wire mesh and foam packed around pipes and a duct where they pass through, part of the preventative rodent proofing and air sealing done before the new insulation went up.
