5. Ventilation and Attic Heat May Be Adding to the Problem

Short answer: Ventilation can be part of a larger attic-performance solution when attic heat is severe, but it does not replace proper air sealing or adequate insulation. [5][7]

6. Sometimes the Problem Is Not the Attic
